View Full Version : Stereo amplifier - 25amp fuse, will alternator support it?

Will (should) the original alternator readily support the Infinity Basslink powered 10" subwoofer, which has a 25 amp fuse? My only other accessory is a typical aftermarket head unit. Thanks. Rob.

Yes it will...
If you have more questions on ICE (In Car Entertainment), just ask...
As a hobby I build in ICE...
I have a BMW 525TDSA Touring. Have a headunit from JVC, 2 amplifiers (1x 300W and 1x 500W). The 300W goes to my 4 normal speakers and the 500W goes to my 12" subwoofer wich is build in the place where my sparetire should be... Because of what I have in my car, I have put an PowerCap in it...
On request I will take some pictures if you want and send it to you...

Because of the engine swap, everything is a bit "out of order", but as soon as I'm ready, I will make some pics and post them here...
I hope it is within a week...
