Central locking is driving me nuts!

The central locking on my e34 89 is erratic to say the least the first time I lock it it reopens itself the second time I lock it it stays locked! do I just have a car that wants to be driven soo much she re opens herself or has anyone else experianced this phnomenon?:D :)

Replace all of the door lock actuators.

If you checked all the door actuators and they seem ok then I wonder if your burglar alarm works the cental locking? That could cause erratic lock/unlock issues.

If you lock it, and it just unlocks, there is a door that is not operating correctly. Usually it is the one that is not down or locked. You will need to look and see which door is not locked. If it is the passanger side door try using your key to lock it. If it is one of the rear passanger door you my need to replace the actuater.
