I saw a photo here a few weeks ago of someone's trunk with this liner installed and was wondering about their opinion of it. Do things slip around on it? Does it fit exactly? Does it scratch easily and so on? I would like to get something better than the dirty grey carpet I have installed now.

Got them in both of my cars. Residue from golf bag and cart is easily thrown out in a couple of seconds. The price seems higher then I paid though I am not sure. Dealer sells them for newer cars too.

It came in my 525i and it's been great. Biggest problem is always bringing the gallons of milk back from the warehouse store when all my family is home for the holidays. We go through a gallon a day and for some reason the ones from Sam's Club always seem to leak on the drive home. Used to piss me off when they leaked on the carpet so I'd keep towels in the trunk for that purpose. When they leak on the weathertech mat it just takes a quick wipe with a wet paper towel to make it new again. Golf shoes after a round in the wet don't scare the carpet anymore, either! I've never purchased a liner but getting it for free with the car, I'm quite happy with it.

I'd think that would be good for me, since I'm carrying big plastic tubs full of detailing equipment all the time.
Has anybody found anything cheaper, because that's ridiculous!

I love the idea and can just drive to Downers grove from Evanston to pick it up although gas would probably cost more than that to get there and back. I will keep an eye on their website to see if they have sales anytime soon.

finally i can contribute as an expert - on being cheap! this is probably too far on the low end for anyone but just in case i took a photo of the rubber floor-mat material i bought as a (still lol) temporary floor mat solution until i buy real ones. they sell piles of this stuff on giant rolls at hardware stores here over the winter, not sure about less snowy places. it's pretty easy to exacto straight and doesn't look bad - just thought i'd mention it as i was going to cut a piece to line my trunk eventually.
