swapping m20 for a m30

I'm looking at a possible motor swap from an 89 535i m30 to 89 525i m20. Just trying to figure out if the transmission will bolt up and what other modifications; if any, will be necessary to make this swap possible. If Anyone who's ever done this swap could give any insite on this procedure, I would certainly appreciate any input that you could give to help.
