I suspect my throttle needs some adjustment. There is very small amount of lag time after I press the throttle and hear/feel the engine accelerate. How do you adjust it?
Thanks,

Look at the throttle body cable, you can rotate the cable to adjust height. It may help to remove the plastic tube to see when the throttle body is fully closed. You don't want to create an air leak. Also ask someone to fully depress it to make sure it opens all the way.

Russel, make sure you don't have it too tight, or else the revs won't drop fast enough when you shift.

I attempted to adjust the throttle body cable. I verified that it does not quite open all the way. However, I am unclear what/where to adjust. Can someone explain in more detail? it could be that my car, 95 525i build 1/95 with traction control is different than earlier 525i models.
Thanks- will take a look. Anything else I should look for?
