Well, the model is finally done. I'll admit I'm not the greatest painter but it looks great from 3 feet away so it looks good on the bookshelf. The camera seems to pick up all the flaws in my trimwork

Lol, you paint as well as I do.... and I make a living painting cars. :D

lol, you guys need to quit whining about the paint job ....... just squint your eyes really tight and it looks really effen good :p
next time don't drink that quad shot espresso/latte before you freehand that shadowline ;)

Wow! Did you detail all of it using a 2" brush or use a roller for the flat bits? :D
Nice model, but seriously redo the detailing it detracts from the overall effect. If it helps cut down your brush to a few short bristles and then take your time. You can get it much neater than that!

Nice, You guys make me laugh. I Even taped it off before I painted the shadow line. The camera picks up the bad stuff. I knew it wasn't great but with my painting sklls I thought it looked pretty good. "you need to see it in person":) :)
Maybe this will turn into a work in progress and we should consider it a first draft.

great model but you really screwed up the paint job. use a toothpick, some sticky tape and some anti-stress (handshake) pills :D :D

Car needs to be lowered! You should get one of those model lowering kits :-)
