Okay so I am on the borderline of blowing my car up!
It has sooo many problems that I don't even know where to start...
First and foremost....the front and rear suspension is SHOT!
the rear struts are shot!
out of no where i have this crazy steering wheel vibration under light breaking but goes away under hard breaking....so I'm guessing my rotors are shot (front)
The car has treated me well over the years but has nearly 200 k and is a 1993...is it worth for me to fix it?
what do you guys think of this?

i can do all the rear suspension and breaks myself but the front would need to go to a shop.
Should I sell the car for dirt cheap? Should I do a tax write off with it?
I'm sooo confused?
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!

HUH?! hahahaha
If you can do the rear you do the front. I've used that brand of parts before and contrary to what many here will say had good results.
I would see what the car actually needs and do only that if you are reluctant to make a big investment in this car.
If your driveline and electronics are still in good condition and it's not rusty(Cali., right?) then for under a grand you have a good car again.
If you are just tired of it and it meets the above criteria I'll pay the dirt cheap price for it.
That's shoe polish you know.

okay i have a feeling that im missing something here...can someone fill me in please!
I believe your reference was to the phrase "don't know **** from Shinola". Brown shoe polish looking a bit like, .... The defunct brand of shoe polish lives on with that phrase and to some people has become synonomous with ****.
I guess this makes me the resident geezer here.

awww man anyone with enough balls to chop into the front end shouldnt get discouraged the first time they jab their brakes and have to do it again...use the M5 thrust arm bushings man, if you enjoy replacing struts often then use the bilstein struts, I loved them for the experience when I enjoyed changing them out on a 3 week 4 week regularity. get to know your car....

A lot of the success and failure of parts is in the DIY….The installation…a lot of guys just don’t do a good job on installation and beat the crap out of the boots, bushing, and fail to torque it all down without preloading or letting the car settle off the jack stands.
This leads of premature failure of the bushings.
I know of Meyle success stories, and even Hamburg Tech on a few E39, E36 and E46s

Go with Lemfoerder. You won't have to hope you have a success, you will know you got good parts. Do you really want to do that job again?
