I almost don't come on here much because I cannot stand scrolling up and down trying to find who just posted. This is crazy - are there plans to fix it? I know it takes time but seriously its almost worst being offline than having it all scrambled

hmmm if you go out to the main page it says the time is gmt plus one....that means my post should say the time is approx 1130 pm,but it says it is 7 30 pm,give or take......

I run hibrid mode so everything is just fine, dont know what you guys are running but it dont matter what time people post to me, it is in order.

Switching to Hybrid Mode seems to fix it. Linear Mode is broken.

Maybe the server is using the poster's computer time instead of server's time of recieving the message.

Attack Eagle gave a very logical explanation which showed the different time zones were to blame. Shame I cant find the thread. But Ferret refuted this fairly quickly. He is near London and I'm near Manchester -you can safely say we are in the same time zone! How he can answer a question 2 1/2hours before I post it is beyond me.And, of course, if it were just a time-zone issue, the post time would only be off by full hours, not random hours and minutes. Let's see: this post was sent at 1:40pm U.S. EST.

edit: and, when posted seconds later, shows a time of 8:50AM!! (And five posts in front of the last posts when mine was sent.) And when I log-off and return the forum says I last visited at 4:47AM

Okay, I'll edit the post again and see what the edit-time stamp says. Current time: 1:23PM U.S. East Coast.

From what I have read on other sites it is a problem with the vbulletin scripting.

Now on a different note, and no disrespect is meant to Ed by my next statement, I have a forum setup on my server that I could make available either for the time being or permanently, either way. Like I said, I absolutely mean no disrespect for Ed and the time, effort, and money he has put into this forum but at least a temporary solution would be beneficial.

I have no intentions to overthrow this board or anything of that nature. The information contained here is extremely valuable and I think that everyone would agree with me on that.
