need a mechanic to reset my new (used) e34 trans in east bay? suggestions??

please let me know a good bmw mechanic who know transmissions in the east bay (hayward, fremont, etc.) to reset and activate my newly installed automatic transmission....for a reasonable price.;)

we installed another used m50 92 trans but i still get a trans program code please help. should i take it to a bmw specialist?

it shouldn't need to be "reset" if it is hooked up right, or not defective.

I had similar problems and wasnt a happy bunny.If you swapped like for like, now is the time to check if you have any error codes. Could just be (as in my case) a speed sensor. But you just have to say I'm not going to let the bastard beat me:)
