So I was able to get my hands on an E39 dome light assembly and took it apart to get the LEDs and the housing for it. So far this is what I have but I noticed O placed the housing for the LEDs to far down and it interfers with that metal bar going accross between the sunroof motor and the dome light assembly... I'm trying to minimize the assemblies because I can't really uncut the holes. lol any suggestions? I got the power from the light power for the sunroof switch...
