How do I?

Ok people, I have booked the car in to get some work in a weeks time but I need to know how to disabe the alarm before then as it is driving me mad.
I do not have a key for the alarm or know where the hell it lives in the car.
Obviously I do not want to destroy it but I do need to stop it going off randomly before seeing the mechanic next week.

First thing to figure out is if it is a factory alarm or an after-market one. When the alarm sounds is it the horn beeping (factory), or is it a siren?

If you have a factory dwa alarm it is under the rear seat. It is forward of the relay modules, hidden under the lip that the seat base mounts into. It has 3 groups of green wires going into it. Just un-plug it.

If you have an aftermarket alarm you will probably find it inside the dash. They usually install them to the right of the steering column. It should be obvious what it is because the wiring will not be a neat as the factory wiring.
