Annoying Seat Bending

Well, I just bought the 535i, and I'm having problems with the front drivers seat. It's getting to the point where my back is dying too. When ever I recline the seat backwards or fowards, only one side moves, ending up with my seat completely crooked. I can hear gears sliding and slipping on one side, but not the other. The seat is literally at a 30 degree angle.

What can I do? It is easy to fix?

I've searched, but nothing seems to apply to my problem. Only one side moves at all. The left side of the seat just sits back and will not move one bit. I need to get it fixed because I just can't drive around with one side of the seat all the way down...
