my 93 525tds is leaking oil, the level is going down and the leak seems to be on the intake side of the block, i removed the air intake manifold to see where the oil was coming from and from what i could see it was the cylinder head gasket. Its not at a critical stage where im losing too much oil but it will need fixed in the near future.
Is there any additives or such like that i can try or even temp fixes to stop the leak ? I am not loasing water and as far as i know there is no oil in the water, its just leaking down the block.
I am diy capable of doing the job myself, but i need a 'how to' specific to the 525 tds. what special tools are needed and can you improvise when the special tools are needed?
