I went to have my 2001 740iL inspected today and the inspection people wanted me to remove the cover so that they could test the emissions system. Apparently if it is not removed properly the clips holding the cover on break. I tried to remove it myself but I don't know the little trick to get it off. Is there a tool that is used to remove it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
