E34 Oxford green, angel eyes, picture pimping

heres my 1993 525 Tds i finally got my beast clay bar, polished and waxed so i could then take a few pictures of it in its fill glory, i have plans to paint the chrome trim and replace the wonky rear spoiler and add a leather interior. my acs 3 schnitzer wheels are ordered and should be fitted next weekend.

i bought the lights second hand for £80 ($160) for fronts and rears however one of the front lens's had a crack which i was aware of, i replaced the lens with one off my old lights and one of the led bulb holders was faulty due to water getting in so i replaced the bulb holder and its all working now.

im in the uk and the chap i got them from paid £170 plus vat, so approx $380, you would need to check ebay.com for what they cost in your country

yeah i agree it looks great with the bonnet (hood) up

My 310k, Oxford green,TDS will now be known as "the Shed"! Good ammount of work gone into that paint,also looks to me as though your rad clips are gone,rad is growing at the bottom,pushing it up?

Haha, there's nothing wrong with your 'shed' it polishes up nicely!

you are looking far too closely, the grill was sticking out but i fixed it, it was not refitted properly after i painted the grills.

bigtallsam, i bought the front and rear lights second hand for £80 total although one of the fronts had a cracked lens which i fixed, the chap i bought them from got them from cooksferry but i am sure i have seen them on ebay too.

im not sure what its been lowered by, the previous owner had done the full suspension, fitted new springs and shocks and some poly bushes.

Car looks amazing, I wish my car were in such amazing shape. If I clay bar mine it'll just reveal the little dents. I'm not personally a big fan of the tail lights but the angel eyes are growing on me, if they were a bit thinner they'd be perfect.

taking the pic about 7-8pm helps when the sun is away, shows the dark colour off better ;)
