Well I finally got a crappy part from Pelican parts. I ordered a catch for the glovebox and they sent me a Chinese knockoff. The holes for the catch and the handle do not align and I stripped the screws. Should have looked at the part closer before putting it in. Anyway the catch does not fit my existing handle with the lock. Pelican included a handle (without a lock), interestingly they do not show this in the picture on their site. They only show the catch. Guess I should not complain for $10. Now I will have to go to the local BMW dealer and spend $5 for each replacement screw. I live in Dayton Ohio and all of the dealers here are twice the price of anywhere else. I also purchased a Sach clutch kit I pray there is nothing wrong with it. A lot more work putting in a clutch versus a catch and handle.
