Started & drove the 540i for the first time in 20 months, but man was it unhappy about the gas in the tank. It took a bit to get her started after priming the new fuel lines to check for leaks. I then left for the Shell station for some fresh 93. I can't begin to tell you how redoing the rear suspension, bushings & such makes the car drive differently. The power goes immediately to the wheels - no squirm. The only modifications I made were the Koni sport adjustables - set to half firm like the fronts. I replaced every nut, bolt, and washer on the rear beam, along with the swaybar clamps, bushings and diff. mount. I think the most tedious part was getting the torque wrench on everything. Tonight I'm celebrating Saluki style, with a great canadian beer or two.
