Decided to spend some time on the bodywork as I've neglected it for a while I'll be honest. Tried some stuff from Einsett (however the hell you spell it) because someone here recommended it... I wasn't disappointed the paintwork shined up beautifully so thought I'd share some pics!

I used the 'Glans Wax' after the paint polish for protection and when it rained the beading of the water was out of the ordinary...

I don't know if the picture does it justice but I was impressed!
While uploading my pics I also found this which is one of my favourites: The frosty morning look!

Doesn't look like you are there yet. Use clay bar and then wax it again.

Easy Tiger! :D LOL!
I appreciate your brute honesty, but I don't think the pictures do it justice. Still, say more about this clay bar...

Clay bar is awesome. As long your car has smooth finish (doesn't feel like fine sandpaper), this product will remove all impurities stuck in the finish, wax, etc from the car. It is a very very very fine polishing agent.
Use your palm of your hand and rub down the car... feel those stubbles here and there? This will remove them all.
Very easy to use too. Just wet the car down using the provided liquid agent... or simply use diluted car wash (just as if you use it to wash your car), and simply slide the clay bar back and forth. Each time you do this, you will feel your body even slicker. You know you removed all impurities and polished your car. No pressure needed... just slide back and forth.
Once you are done, wash car down again, dry and wax on/wax off... and you will see what I meant... ultra mirror finish. Use good wax too... don't use cleaner/wax combo nor wash and wax in one step. Meguiar Gold Class is good oldie... or use their newer product unless your product you got is also wax...

Kneed that clay bar as you go to bring out clean clay and embed those impurities inside.

I hear what your saying about feeling the rough parts... I can feel tiny tiny sharp bits here and there and want rid of them now! Done some research into possible purchases... What do you think of these:
I guess this is the one you speak of:

I was quite happy with the results, although the bonnet may need going over. I'm not sure the car 'looks' much shinier so to speak but it definitely 'feels' smoother!

Never mind the posers, good job! But will you all stop making your cars as new, mine is getting uglier and more zealous by the day! If there was ever a UK meet I`de have to re-spray it just to get in.And before you say anything Andy, it bottomed out on Flugplatz and now the front wing gaps are odd, sign of effort!

Look at the reflection on your car... I can actually see the 'other' car. That's a whole lot better. Even your hood shines and I can see the rooftop of the building nearby it.
Now the deepness you are talking about is another story... to get the deepness of the shine... ahh... don't want to get you all worked up for that... LOL ;)
Aren't you glad you clayed your car?

Clay Magic is a low cost brand easily available in the US. As for Polishs and waxes there are so many options you try them for years.

LOL you can't please some people! ;)
No I am pleased with it to be honest, good to see all the dirt and crappy bits come off even after washing it! The only bad part was when I accidentally rubbed the claybar over my already weathered BMW badge at the front and took some of the white off it... Boo nay.
Anyway thanks for the recommendation! I'm going to give the bonnet another go because there is still some roughness left and it's definitely not as shiny as the rest of the car... It'll get there! :D

LoL I'm sure it looks great Barney... Now a UK meet is what I'm talking about, it'd be brilliant to put some faces to the names! Do you reckon many would be up for it?! I know I would!
Oh and thanks for the compliment! :D

For the rough part... I use 3M #2 rough cut polishing compound... work it in with the machine... and then go number #3 if you can... and then clay... and then wax.

You really go to town on it don't you?! You'll have to post some pics before you wash the paint off it LOL! :D
I'm quite happy with mine, especially when i park next to some much younger cars and see that my paintwork is as good if not better than theirs!
