Many here appear to love their performance chips. I have bigger fish to fry before making the investment, but may very well do so in the future. If acceleration is markedly slow, you may want to investigate other sources, otherwise, a peformance chip is likely the best value.

Good luck,

The final drive could be changed from 4:10 (automatic I'm assuming) to something higher (er, lower), like a 4.45. You'll lose top speed though.
EAT chip is a good investment as well.

I noticed he doesn't sell the chip for 1995 525i. Only till 1994 models... Is 1995 525i different than 1991-1994 525i?

Contact Mark directly, I believe there is/was an issue with the EWS stuff on the '95 models. Might be something else besides EWS, but it's been mentioned before.
ps NDPS sucks the high hard one! :P

I believe from 1/95 build date on there is ""additional security built into the vehicle. It requires a bit of additional work (not sure what) for a replacement chip to function properly. I plan to wait for Mark's chip.
