I'm running these as a result of them being the top consumer report pick for performance all-season. They are quite nice--I'd recommend them.

My 89 535 needs new rubber. After polling you folk decided on the Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S. I've been told they are NLA for the 225/60-15. I'm not interested in buying new rims. Any recommendations out there? Live in Southern Cal so snow is not an issue, do enjoy "doing the corners".

What is NLA?
I'm in Northern Cal and I'm running Michelin MXV4 225/60/15 M/S 96H on the 95 530ia with factory rims. I'm also running Michelin Pilot Exalto M/S 205/65/15 M/S 94H on the 92 525ia with factory rims. Great tires. Purchased both sets from Costco during their tire sales.

I just bought the Michelin Exalto A/S in February. Michelin said there was no plans to discontinue the tire in that size. I sure hope I do not need a replacement. This size is becoming obsolete. BTW, Tirerack says they are back ordered

I have the pilot sport a/s and they are great. I've used them in all conditions and they are a fantastic high performance all season tire. If you get all four seasons and dont want two sets of wheels this is your tire.
bad news: 4 tires in m5 sizes ran me $950 installed
before this I had the GY F1 GS-D3 great in everything but snow.

Were not available in 225x60x15 which is why I went to the Michelin Exalto A/S.

I bought some Michy Harmony's they are a great all around tire, very quiet and good wear. 130,000 km warrenty.
You dont need PSs unless you are gonna track them and they are 2 time as expensive and last a 1/3 of the length
