Can any one tell me what symtoms the car shows when the caster rod bushes are worn, and does any one else have a problem with the car misting up on the inside in the cooler months unless you run the air con.

In your profile you have not mention the production month and year.
Just in case your car has a mirofilter installed, change that one and the problem is probably solved.

The car does have a slight shake but also when you are just creeping forward and apply the brakes the front end seems to move.

That's a real sign of worn caster rod (or thrust arm bushes).

If they are stuffed you will get some fore and aft movement of the front wheels and front end shimmy at around 90-100kmh.
