Seems to me there should be a moderation of at least the first post from a new member before it makes its way to the board, and that should certainly include the inability to use PMs before the moderated period has passed. On some boards, there's a 100-post requirement before you PM privileges cut in. While that's excessive and leads to specific threads for raising post count, it does keep out the proselytizers. That being said, thanks for dumping this chump!
