Hi all,
Would 245/40's rub on the front with 17x8 et 20 style 42's? I have the Sachs kit. Tire selection seems better than 235/45 in the track/autocross-able rubber. I'm trying track school in July!
Thanks,
M

No rubbing on the front at full lock?

On BMWE34.net a 255/40/17 is an optional upgrade to factory wheels and tires. So I'm guessing a 245/40 should work.
My brother could get away with 18x8's with 235/45's, but not 245/45's so as long as a 245/40/17 is the same as or smaller than a 235/45/18 I don't see a problem.
