Very Strange Cruise/Indictor fault

When travel along the motorway with the cruise on, and then suddenly indicating right, the cruise cuts out??? as soon as you cancel the indicator and hit 'resume' it works again, doesnt do it when indicating left!!!!! any ideas guys? cheers

Maybe the connector on the cruise control switch has almost come off/is barely making contact. Then perhaps when you signal right, the electrical connection to the cruise control switch is broken, due to the (slight) stress being put on the mountings (which presumably hold both the indicator switch and the cruise control switch). A bit of a long shot?
