95 540i AUTO- ASC Traction PROBLEM

My Traction ASC button doesnt work anymore and always the light is on in my cluster. and the car doesn't traction. All the sudden doesnt work. what is the problem how do I look into it.

Had the same problem once on my '94 530iT and it ended up being the traction control cable. It was cut. I oredered a new one (I think it was around $45 or so) and installed it. No too hard to install.

first thing look at the cable for the traction control throttle plate to see if it broke, common and easy to fix
