I just found cheap blower fans and even the fan cages as single items.
Unfortunately no dimensions are given here for the blower fans

When I was looking in to getting a new blower motor and re-using my old cages i read some site,I think Bavarian Autosport here in NH saying the blowers with cages had the cages Balanced to the particular Motor .This suggested to me there could be imbalances when swapping cages from other motors but I found a decent used one anyway for about $80 usd which is still doing fine. Is this "balnced cage" stuff just advertising hype to induce doubts about buying just the Motor so maybe you'll buy the entire assembly ? Parts is parts right?

Balance schmalance. Perhaps Hans at Bosch wished it this way but fact is the cage is light and not large enough in diameter for anything other than a gross imbalance to make a difference you'd notice, although I've noticed some tiny clips on the cages.
I have all the dimensions of the blower motor somewher so if someone wants to inquire about the size of the motors shogun has posted I'll be happy to investigate.
Me, I don't care until I need another blower motor.

I got a used spare blower motor complete from Germany just last week, so I do not need one, but many here might be interested. New one costs a hefty amount.
