Material is PVC, but he will just get the PVC parts and assembles them at home, add the clips, colours the bolts and screws etc.

when you said "rear" I thought of the rear view mirror screen. I never knew they existed for the rear seats.

They are available for the E34 for the rear door windows and the rear door trianle windows.
The problem is that the clips of the rear triangle windows very often break, and then one can throw these things in the bin, because no spare clip available. New ones (complete triangle shades) are pretty expensive.
I solved it with my friends help, who made me some tailormade plastic clips as the one shown in the link above, but that takes too much time to make it available for many people as the cost would be prohibitive. So the solution to have them mouled out of plastic and produce a small series is better. Still not cheap, but is probably 10-20% the price of a complete new sunshade (rear triangle sunshade I mean).
