does anyone have these on their car? I'm thinking they may look cool on my black car, but am concerned about legality/visibility restriction/ease of removal if I dislike them.
here's a pic from BavAuto: http://www.bavauto.com/assets/imglib500/lightshield_round_smk.jpg

What the hell is wrong with tinted cling-film, what you call Saran wrap I think ? Been keeping the flies off my Bm`s for years!

You install them using a soapy water solution. It takes many hours to dry and stay in place. I have clear ones on for protection.
So, you'll have a couple of hours to make up your mind and call the proper authorities to figure out if they're legal or not. ;)

I have the clear ones on my BMW. A very good product and investment. I have them on my fog lights also. The set I bought also came with the protectors for the turn indicators. I haven't installed those yet. I'll put them on the new clear Hella's I'm getting ready to order.
