Anyone have a fix for this?
Removed the splash pans but two of the four screws/nuts that hold the front of the splash pan are broken. Anyone have a way of fixing this or replacing the screws/bolts? Doesn't seem like you can get to the bolts from the top and they seem to be welded in place????

Drill them out and install new good ones.
Or use one of these "patented" German special screws :D

of course, just joking, that was made by someone for people which always drill wrong :)

Drill the holes large enough for a plastic "nut" like those used for the license plate.

Why are there two spash pans? I am wondering if the 535i had two? I thought my 525i has only one which I put it on after an accident. I did not have one previously. Perhaps a second pan is needed?? Not sure most 95 525is had them.
BTW, The body shop used stainless steel fasterners. Doubt if they use factory style connectors.
