simple, my vinyl door panels were sagging like most and so i removed all of them. I then slowly pryed off the material by pulling up and letting a wood wedge seperate the material from the card board. once all that was off, i used contact cement, mostly used for woods to bond the material back to the card board-- if you dont know how to use cement bond, just read the back its very simple and it wont seep through the vinyl. once the panel was glued back i let it sit for three days laying down and then replaced them. No peeling so far and everything looks great. goodluck

nice - i would like to see photos too. mine are a work in progress and they are in horrid shape, the po really botched his previous repair job and there's not enough vinyl to work with. i would like to use velcro to hold the panel covers i redid on but the stuff i have won't stick to the vinyl.
some progress shots... really big pita!

Cool stuff. I have a similar problem with my interior door panels. The vinal is lifting off the wood, not tearing though thankfully. I think I'll give this a shot one day.
Contact cement is like melted cheese, it's a bugger. heehee
Thank you.:)

its seems to be a common problem with our cars after 15-20 years.
