Pulled the panel under the dash that covers the linkage for the clutch, brake and gas pedals. Are there any tricks to getting this panel back in with the vent manifold in place. This thing is a pain.

I took the vent and panel apart and put the vent in first. I still have not gotten the screw in to connect the vent and panel, but it seldom rattles. I assume you took this out to tighten the nut at the base of the steering column. If not, this is the perfect time to do it.

Not to tighten the nut on the steering column but to grease the pivot shaft on the clutch and brake. It has started squeaking. I will tighten the nut at the base of the steering column also.

I used to complain to no end how difficult it was to do this. Not any more when you do it a few times.
