how this thing even ran is beyond me. The cap center electrode is GONE! Only got to one side so far, plugs next and to see if I can remember how this all goes together. Looks like original stuff going on here so far.

wrong plugs for sure, other cap was severely compromised at the same rotor point. 2 wires on this side were somehow cut and arching near the boots, the 1st side had 2 replacement wires that weren't looking up to it. looks like a lot of heat hangs out here.
new plugs all started into the bores, need to snug them up... thank goodness my son is small as the last rear one is almost impossible to deal with as there is some hose or wire in the way.
Will fire up tomorrow and see how bad it is with the busted plastic connector that goes to an unknown area of the lower engine.
no check engine light would be welcomed here. free beer and smoked ribs for those lucky enough to show up in time :o
Edit: Not wrong plugs, old ones were F8LCR single electrode ground, replaced with NGK BKR6EQUP with 4 electrode thingies

check engine light still on...bastard. Maybe I will unplug the computers and start that angle, will drive now anyways to see if there is any improvement. For a 5.0 seemed kinda sluggish but I have nothing to compare it to so maybe thats how she should run. Tho the burned up cap couldn't have helped anything...

Holey Shyyt!!!! This thing flies! seems like 8 seconds to 100MPH.
Going to replace the front end parts so I can't drive this thing before I end up in jail.
No tire spinning from the launch but now the front end raises up when I smash the peddle. My son says the torque held him in the back seat where he couldn't move... he had that big old smile again :D
Wonder if I can get this stupid check engine code to go away.
Front end first... sigh
