I recently did a service on the GQ, R&Ring the BMW coolant and installed a set of Bosch Platinum +2's (Ref 4303) instead of simply replacing the Bosch P+4's which had been in for 7500 miles.
I then removed the MAF and gave it a liberal spraying of MAF cleaner and, surprise! surprise, when I drove into work today I set the cruise on 70 and reset the OBC mpg "on the move" and at the end of 33 miles up and down the hills, I showed an average of 31.1 mpg!
Previously, I averaged 28/29 mpg at 70 so this was quite unexpected!
