Personally I'd stick with normal food. Doggie stuff might get a bit boring after a while...

I am trying to do a simplier version with just the shift lever.
I got all the parts 2nd hand in the yard:D the knob i got it from an e39 the plastic cover i got it from a right hand drive e36.You just have to make a few mod after that but very minimal. I cutted the shaft bout 1/4 and had reupholster the rest with a beige leather. gudluck:D

if i shorten the shifter shaft will it fit an E39 shift knob? the one with a gray safety pin thing.

yes, my shift knob came from an e39. I shorten the shaft around 1/4, its easy to do esp. if you have an electric saw which unfortunatly i don't and did the cutting manually;)

From Bentley's diagram. it does not appear to be difficult to remove the shiffer shaft. I sure hope it is. Hate to ruin something and then find out you have to pull the trany to fix it!!!

how do you remove the shaft assembly?
i did not remove the shaft since i had limited tools.I cut the shaft as is.
