need help: my fan/aircon only vents towards me and i can't adjust it anywhere else?

each vent has an adjustement on the front to diect air in any direction....and the centre ones can be closed off

i try to move the adjustment level to vent the foot area, or the windshield area, but it seems like any kind of adjustment i get the air just blows to the front of me.....

please let me know..

Ahhhh! Sounds like a cable popped off or is broken. Disassemble repair replace?
