Does the LKM affect this? Or is it something else? It was working intermittantly and then just stopped altogether.
I replaced the bulb and still no go, I was under the impression LKM was only headlights, etc?
Thanks

I doubt its the LKM
Check the contacts on the light assembly

Try sanding the contact areas with some extra fine sandpaper. Scratch the contact with the leads from a multimeter and see if you've got power. If there still isn't any power, remove the black cover from the right trunk lid hinge and inspect the wiring there for breaks, especially at the hinge point.
I'm thinking you should be getting a bulb message from the taillight if it wasn't making the circuit somewhere.
Ok, now that you've checked the simple things first, then proceed to check the LKM. When the headlamps fail you get a message on the matrix, unless the LKM is faulty, then the lights will just go out and the message never appears.
