Hey guys - got my shadow line trim on the car fully now, but realize that my friend who removed it from the parts car got a little rough with it. The front passenger trim has a slight bend from removing that I can't smooth out. Additionally the felt window lining is mucked up there (I think he used a screw driver and yah..)
So - I have the big part that goes around the top of the windows - whats the part numbers for the smaller parts that go at the base of the 4 windows?

51 21 2 232 447/8 Front doors
51 21 2 232 449/50 Rear doors
51 13 2 232 441/2 Drip rails
51 13 1 924 953 clips (about 24)

I think this is everything one needs.

I guess those numbers are sold out. Realoem doesn't seem to list shadowline trim...
Shmiedmann has a kit that you could probably order through Abrahams Motorsport.
EDIT. Realoem has the numbers under the e34 3.8 M5 Bodywork and
Vehicle Trim ->Exterior Trim

Jon, remove the door panels, you have to anyway...remove the trim pieces, you have to anyway. Buy the trim black paint and primer, sand with a 600 grit to remove the clear coat covering, (it comes right off) using the thin foam backed sanding material. Wipe the trims clean with something to remove all traces of silicones like laquer thinner and then use prep-sol. Then give them a coat of primer, let dry, lightly sand again, then shoot them with SEM trim black. You can find it at any automotive paint supply. The trim will turn out great, and you will save a ton of money, especially since most of the work is the labor removing the door panels. By the way, when you are removing the panels, take your time. You will see how the trim is attached via several clips that bite into a raised metal portion of the door. Remove the door panel starting at the front of the door first, pulling it up and away from the door a little at a time, working your way toward the rear, this will release the side attachments to the trim pieces as you go. This will leave the chrome piece still attached to the door. After the main panel is removed, then you can release the clips that hold the moulding in place. When you install the painted moulding, make sure you have the position correct and halfway attach it to the metal receiver, but don't press down all the way until you have the door panel hooked in place and anchored. You'll see how the top of the panel clips in when you have it out. Just reglue any anchors that come loose from the panel.
TIP: use a cardboard box to mount the pieces in when you are spraying the primer and trim black and there will be proper coverage.
Have fun, you'll enjoy the trim much more if you do it yourself.

JR as much as I'd like all that work, I already have real shadowline from an M5. I just need to replace a piece as a friend damaged it when removing.
