I have done some checking on this site/archives, but am not sure if my car's problem is the twisted seat issue or is something else. The drivers seat really is not twisted at all, and it moves up and front and back but will not move down at all (its stuck in the up position and when I press the power switch, I can hear the motor, but nothing happens). I have the bentley manual and took the seat off only to notice that a wire with a hook from under the front rug is not attached to the seat at all- could this be why the seat does not go down? If so, where does the cable/wire attach to on the seat? If that's not the problem, does anyone have any suggestions?
