Just did mine 2 weeks ago. Bentley manual states the M60 coolant capacity is 12.5 liters (13 qt.) and is self bleeding.

There is a drain plug in the radiator and on the engine block. I believe there are actually two on the block, one on each side behind the exhaust heat shields (aluminum sheet metal). I only drained coolant from the right side and the radiator.

after you flush it all out add 50% of the coolant before you add water or else you may have a weak mixture from water remaining in the block.

You know I have been blindly filling this car with more and more distilled water as the old coolant leak away.....Sounds like that was a pretty poor choice. Why do you need such a careful mixture of coolant to water?

Freeze protection mainly... or it will crack your engine block and radiator on super cold day.

Because too much water can cause corrosion and freeze up in your block like Tiger said
and too much anti-freeze will just eat away at the aluminum head.
