As here on the E34 section there are more people from OZ, anyone knows a parts E32 with sunroof?
Headliner material condition does not matter, someone asking for help just needs the headliner board. With the sunroof headliner board section.
It is for an E32 730i (short wheel base) with sunroof.
The problem is that he wanted to remove the headliner material and the remaining foam and glue and apparently he used the wrong stuff and the trim shop now tells him that the glue will not hold.

G'day everyone.I have a bit of a drama. My headliner was sagging on my 730i so i removed the headboard and all column covers, sunroof piece etc in order to take them to the motor trimmers to reline all pieces.Unfortunately i decided to clean my headboard of glue to save a bit of money.I used metho and now the motortrimmer says i've stuffed it completely as the new liner will not stick at all.The cardboard has absorbed the metho.Does anyone have or know where i can get a headbord.I've found 3 on ebay from germany, such as seller bmw teile bremen, however none will freight to australia.my car is a 92 730i vin.DE25623.I've gone besirk on the car, doing the rims,brakes,suspension,engine,electrics,e38 gear change mod as posted by shogun etc, this has put a spanner in the works!
best regards davey.

the motor trimmer has left it for 3 weeks, used the sun, heat guns and has had no luck.He said in high tension areas such as the grap handles it's still not adhering properly. He's going to contact the glue manufacturer.i understand what your saying about different glues,i'm just not confident to undertake this sort of job.Mechanically, electrically,i'll give it a crack but this sort of thing worries me.

So if anyone has a hint, please let me know the details where to contact etc.
Thanks to down under:)
