Fuel consumption variations

So, I've noticed erratic fuel consumption, ranging from 8.8 l/100km up to 9.7, on the same trip, in the same conditions, and changes happening after passing manoeuvres (accelerate, reintegrate the lane and resume cruising speed). I used to get 8.4.

So I suspect MAF and O2 sensor (3 years old), perhaps even a relay. Boot is new. This is consistent since the water pump was changed, so I wonder that the water temp sensor could be faulty too... dunno.

Suggestions ?

could just be the trip computer....

Or the cluster. The needle indicating fuel consumption wiggles quite a bit. Maybe that could be the problem. It's as if it was searching continualy to get the fuel mixture right.
