?'s about Fan Blower and Final State Unit (sword)

I had the problem with the fan only working on 4 and a growling/hum on 1, 2, and 3. Based on info on this board, I bought a final stage unit(sword) from Vines Automotive in Alabama and installed it. The growling/hum has gone away, but the fan still only blows on 4. Is there something else I should replace, or is the sword I bought from Vines bad?

Interesting that the noise ceased with the sword exchange as that is usually an indication of worn blower motor bushings.
Unless the switch is at fault your symptoms still point to a bad sword. Not the first untested/bad part sent from Vines I hear.
