I have a 1995 E34 530 M60, production date 6/95 with automatic transmission. I don't see a chip listed on your website. Which is the correct chip for this car?
I have your chip on my 1992 525ia for about 8 years now and loving it. Looking to have one install on the 530ia.

Hi Glen,
I never completed the 530 chip as there are none up here to work on, and also it appears that two models of auto trannys were used and each one requires a different chip.
Sorry about that!

Hi E34 owners, I'm running this sale on some other sites also, and just hit the number of orders required for 15% off. So if you order, you will save $35.35 off the $229 price.
Sorry, this sale does not include the chip for the 1995 540 with EWS, as I have to read yiour stock chip to make you one with your EWS codes in it.

Marks as I told you a dozen times the chip you sent me to test works flawless in both transmission cars.

I might be interested also if you can guarrantee the correct chip.
Mine is an Australian 11/92 525i Touring auto with M50 motor. I mention "Australian" because from what I've learnt from this forum, my auto is different from the USA issue. Mine is a 5 speed.
What sort of information do you need to determine the correct chip?

As you probably know, the US have 5 speed tourings too, just a different manufacturer/model trans in all tourings and some others. Remember the drive ratios vary depending on country even if the tranny doesn't. The GM tranny used on M50s probably allowed BMW to satisfy some 'US content use' (if the tannyes are US made) or German export regulations or something like that.

Actually I didn't know that. I thought I'd read somewhere in this forum last year that the USA only had 4 speed auto's which is why I thought to emphasise the "Australian". I know mines a ZF but don't know which one as yet. I did know that they also had GM in the USA and your guess that it was for local content sounds plausible.

Easy to overhaul and very reliable- terrifically strong too- these are used on V8 Bimmer and Mercs and even Land Rovers, Volvos, etc. Comes in a black or green sticker version, some have green which means synthetic fill _ Castrol Tranmaz Z. I've put that in my black sticker one, up to around 60% now as you can't flush them, makes no discernable difference though. They have no dipstick, just an overflow level hole so to gauge level you need a laser-temp gauge, procedure and a flat surface, ideally a hoist... eghh

US 525iT's had 4 speed autos, not the 5 speed autos like the rest of the world apparently got.
Actually I think the only 5 speed auto sold in the US was the 540's.

That's what I thought as well, but further up this thread its mentioned that the US did get 5 speeds but as GM builds rather than ZF.
I'm not 100% but it may have only been in Tourers (s/wagons) if I read the inference correctly.

Maybe the GM tranny could be got in 4 or 5 speed like the ZF? Hmmm

Honda Quaalude X4, seems quite slow in response. Flushed with Bacardi 151, still bad might even be worse. Will try Viagra .15 recommends 3 per gallon will update after.
Viagra seems to pick things up however strong and long lived we are having a serious downtime between refills, doubled recommended dose and blew a radiator hose. Fuel line is leaking at all rubber connections.
Houston?
please advise.
