What are you looking to find out out? I underwrite UL insurance. with interest rates so low, UL hasn't been that great lately.

as lomg as you're not too old (or totally risk averse) you should get a variable life policy. much more upside (if you have the time).

Depends on what you want to use the insurance for. You can do lots of things with life insurance; UL, VUL or Term.

I write UL products of all shapes and sizes. It depends on what you are looking to do, but you can't beat the fact that these are full disclosure products with compeditive intrest rates, low to zero cost loan provisions reduced mortality costs etc.

It really comes down to what you are looking to do.
