Soft On/Off Interior Light Retrofit

I know I've seen it before, but I can't seem to locate where it is now. There was a modification about installing a capacitor somewhere in the interior lighting circuitry that would allow the interior lighting to fade out slowly after a certain amount of time like all the newer BMW's.

If anybody knows of the procedure for this, please point the way. It would be greatly appreciated.
