How do I switch off the auto door locking?
As far as I know, the e34 models did not have automatic door locking from the factory. I assume you mean the feature that locks your doors when you start the car or put it in gear? You might have an aftermarket keyless entry or alarm system that is doing it. The answer to your question will be in the manual for that system if so equipped. HTH

It locks the doors once the engine has started.
Didnt think of it being an aftermarket fit.
Got no opperating instruction unfortunately
My car does that, but its because I installed an alarm system and programmed it to do so. Do you have a keychain remote? If not, you'll probably have to identify the system based on its control module in the car. That will require locating the module first. The area underneath the rear seat is the first place to look. Under the dashboard is another common location. Once you know what you have, you can track down a manual for it. HTH

Thanks Rus
I will give it a go.
Did see something under the rear seat when I changed the battery.
Cheers
