I rebuilt a P/S pump last week. I found the hardest thing was to remove the circlip. You just have follow the video in the link provided.
shogun also has a link somwhere here showing a diagram layout of the pump in another link that I couldn't find just now. But the video takes care of everything.
There's a lot of items in the P/S kit that wasn't used.

Just bought another 10 sets for some chaps here in Japan.
But so far I was not able to find a repair kit for a 530/540 M60 E32 730/740 V8.
They are not made by ZF. If you find a supplier, let us know.

Do they use the Vickers pump? Maybe you can specify the parts so it'd be possible to get them made up or 'hand fabricate' them? I might be able to help sourcing if I know the part specs...
