ASC and ABS Light On - Car not shifting

My ASC and ABS light come off and on in my 1997 528I and now the car is not shifting gears (automatic)

Is this a sensor problem? Easy Fix?

Well known problem with the E39 this - it's one of your wheel sensors gone pop... or you've got an odd size tyre on it.

Get it code read somewhere (to tell you which one of the four has failed,) then the sensor's only about 70 quid and easy diy to replace.
