Hi,
My 1989 BMW 520i has this symptoms which thus far after quite a number of scanning have not been able to detect the fault.
When starting it in the morning it goes along smoothly till it hits 40 kph then it won't change gear. (it's an automatic transmission). Struggling at 40 kph at 4000+ rpm for about 5 minutes or more than everything will be ok throughout the day.
Anyone out there has any suggestion?
