I have an 89 Auto 535, how better would it be if chipped ?.
i know it won't drive like a manual...but how good could it get ?

It would be quite satisfying driving an auto with a chip. I'm sure many people here can tell you the same, and only about 5% of the 535's were 5 speeds.
